Rachel Keller

RachelRachel Keller is a fictional character from The Ring film series. The character created by Rachel Keller was invented by Ehren Kruger. Naomi Watts plays the character. Rachel must dig into the background of Samara Morgan after her son is diagnosed with an unknown illness. Ruth asks Rachel Keller who is an investigative journalist, to look into the cause of Katie's death. Rachel is told by Ruth, her sister, that she found Katie's disfigured body inside the closet. Rachel also reveals that Katie passed away from an attack on her heart. Katie's friends tell Rachel about the myth of the tape that was cursed and how Katie's friend Becca was confined to an institution following Katie's demise.
