Liza Snyder

Snyder is a native of Northampton, Massachusetts. His father works as a professor of theatre at Smith College, and her mother sings and songwriters. Johnny Green is a composer with five Oscar Awards. Betty Furness was an actress, a consumer reporter and an former Academy Award winner. Snyder learned to act at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, New York City. She was coached by Sanford Meisner. Snyder began her acting career with television dramas like The Trials of Rosie O'Neill or Murder, She Wrote. In 1993, she secured the leading role of Molly Whelan in the ABC as well as the later syndicated crime drama Sirens. She also co-starred in two TV movies, and also appeared as guest as a guest on Chicago Hope and Pacific Blue in the aftermath of the show's cancellation. The actress was a regular on Jesse, the NBC comedy Jesse that starred Christina Applegate from 1998-2000. In Pay It Forward, written by Mimi Leder, she played a minor role. Snyder began her acting career as Christine Hughes, a CBS sitcom Yes, Dear, later the same year. The show ended in 2006 when it was cancelled. Snyder had a break of five years between seasons of Yes, Dear. In 2011, Snyder made her return to television with an appearance as a transplant patient in the show House.
