Awkwafina

Awkwafina An American performer and actress, started with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of sexuality and race. Her career expanded to Hollywood after she released a series of raps. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was from the trumpet. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop education began when she was in her teens. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism, and women's studies at college, even learning Mandarin in Beijing for a time. She turned her attention to music once she finished her studies. Following her viral success through the Internet and her own track My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually was included on the debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained viral hits including body-positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC Bitche$. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in 2015. This was an additional initiative. As a musician and an author on her resume she began looking for a third endeavor actor. In addition to early television shows such as Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. Her breakthrough came in the year 2018 when she appeared in a number of notable films like Dude Ocean's Eight as well as Crazy Rich Asians. In June she debuted her debut film, In Fina We Trust.
